Yeah, it does kinda look like that skeleton from that halloween movie. huh. This was just a fun sculpture doode from a couple pinch pots. I wanted him to look crazy and... screwy.

I just saw that movie "Nightmare Before Christmas" ... I suppose screwball does look a little like Jack the Pumpkin King.

I love it but i would have tried to find rusted hardware or treat the bought hardware somehow.

Brooke, that's a very good point seeing that i used iron oxide on the clay, and iron oxide is eseentiallly rust. I should use a rusty screw for this guy.

I disagree. Part of what I love about "Screwball" is the contrast in materials. The new juxtaposed with the seemingly-old. I think it makes him look crazier and screwier, like he was made of parts and not born that way.

I like it... also reminds me of a Tim Burton style head...either that or some mix of a coconut head.
