The All-American Fight: Jackson Pollock vs. James Dean

What would happen if Jackson Pollock fought James Dean? A play on positive and negative spaces. Famous bad-boy (negative) figures have been idolized (positive) in American culture. Here Pollock, the action painter, takes on the action by "punching out" the actor Dean. However, Dean's fall looks like he is acting by taking the fall. The figures in this work are displaced out of an American flag fitting the role of bad boy displaced in society.
