i don't get it

There's this pen that can record both what you write and the sounds while you are writing. That's what you are seeing in this video. Todd Nauck is using someone's pen to draw spiderman, and the sound is turned on, so you can hear him make comments.

One of the things I don't like about how they display the video is that they show the final drawing in gray and the new pen marks animation in green. It makes it look like the person is just coloring the lines. They should default the video so you can't see the finished drawing.

yea, those gray lines threw me off. It's pretty darn cool that you can record the drawing process in video form with an actual pen. That's incredible.

One of my co-workers has one. He was going on an Amtrak trip from Chicago to Colorado on the California Zephyr. He says people are pretty sociable on the train. He was gonna bring his pen-thing with him, so I told him he should have people draw their family in stick figures and then talk about their family while they draw. That would be cool. But understandably, he didn't want to hand over a $200+ pen over to some yokel who might end up pressing too hard and ruining the pen.
