Oh those silly russians. I love how the U.S. and Britain is always like the rational older brothers to Russia.
The caption on the photo says it all: "The Red Planet is extremely inhospitable".

The other story in the news that spudart.org reported on was the 4" diameter hole that the Russians are going to drill on the Antartic to get to a lake. The U.S. is warning the russians that all the pressure that builds up will make a big ol' explosion.
