This site would be a lot cooler if it told you the value of all your friends. $35 is an amount that means nothing without context.

facebook has kept me from twitter. Signing up has been on my list of things to do for-ever, then facebook. facebook even made me neglect my own blog for over 2 weeks.
OK, back to facebook now.

for me personally, twitter ain't all that great. I use it mostly to archive my status messages on facebook. I don't like how you can't go way on facebook to see your status messages from like, a year ago.

I joined twitter last night and my profile is worth $5.
I thought there would be more to twitter than just a status update. It will be curious to see who follows me and who I find though.

One of the things the plagues twitter is that the site is constantly going down. It's down at LEAST once a week. In fact, when i got the note that you are following me, I went to add you, but i couldn't, cuz SURPRISE SURPRISE, the site was down.

Thanks for the heads-up! I got a "direct" from you ... via email. I think that's all it means, that I get your messages sent directly to my email instead of waiting to see them when I sign on to twitter.

$5? Yours is worth 5 bucks and you just signed up, Tom? What did I do that mine is worth only $3? I have 12 followers, 16 updates, and I follow 5 people.
I didn't know facebook deletes old status messages. that's stupid.
I bet they divide how many posts you make per day. Tom's average posts per day is probably higher than yours, moose.
I don't think facebook DELETES the old status messages. They just don't make them accessible. Which is essentially deleting them, but i'm betting they keep them on a server somewhere. Then again. Maybe not. At any rate, we can't get to the old status messages.
