Zhou Brothers at Work

Watch the Zhou Brothers demonstrate their collaborative process as they create a large-scale painting right before your very eyes. Following the performance, the Zhou Brothers will lead a walk-through of their current exhibition, "Zhou Brothers: 30 Years of Collaboration," which includes over 100 paintings, prints, drawings, and sculpture, and has been organized by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Elmhurst Art Museum.

Clothes, Costumes, and Candy

The event is a runway-style fashion show including costumes which will then be worn in a live performance. Featuring artists: J.D. Churchill and Laurel Anderson.

18ST: Pilsen Open Studios

Pilsen
18th Street, from Racine to Oakley Avenues

More than 30 artists will show their work in Pilsen cafes, galleries and private studios. Day of the Dead activities will be in full swing in one of the most colorful neighborhoods in the city. Free trolleys available between studios. More than 20 participating venues including: Mi Cafetal, POLVO Art Studio, Café Mestizo, d'Last Gallery, and Café Jumping Bean. Artists include: Hector Duarte, Montserrat Alsina, Roberto Ferreyra, Ricardo Hernandez, Troy Heinzeroth, and Jeff Abbey Maldonado.

Shrine Workshop Vehicle

Redmoon Theater

Redmoon artists lead a workshop in which participants craft shrines from mundane objects and personal memorabilia. This is an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away. Participants may bring their own materials.
