Happy 10/09/08 countdown day!
It's a countdown day, 10/09/08! 10... 9... 8. What are we counting down to? Here's some ideas: - 25 days until the USA National Election for President
- 301 days until the G.I. Joe movie
- The countdown to the cubs winning the World Series--Oh wait. They are no longer in the playoffs.
- Countdown to my vacation October 20 - 24. (although I don't know what I'm doing with it yet).

Elevator Bouncy Ball Challenge
How many times can you get a bouncy ball to bounce off the walls of an elevator? I got nine. That doesn't seem like much.

I was also thinking today could be 2007.274 (for the 274th day of 2007), but since 2007.274 is an actual decimal number, it assumes that there would be 1,000 days in the year. (here's a cool perpetual calendar that shows you the day number of the year)
