What happened to Pepsi Clear?

Pepsi Clear also known as Crystal Pepsi and Crystal Clear Pepsi was a wonderful beverage back in the early 1990s. But it was only on the market for a short time. I absolutely loved this drink, so I have created a page dedicated to Pepsi Clear. It includes the largest set of links ever dedicated to this drink.

Magician and the deaf

While waiting on at the Jackson red line stop underground L, I noticed a few people doing sign language to each other. I didn't really think much of it until I turned back a few minutes later and noticed that one of the people whose back was toward me was doing some hand motions that didn't look like sign language. Then I saw a little white ball, and that dude with his back to me was doing magic. I dunno, it was just really amazing to see this magician doing slight of hand tricks to these deaf people who were talking back to him via sign language.

CIA copycats Ghostbusters

The CIA has just revealed its new "Terrorist-Busters" logo. You have to see it to believe it...It looks just like the Ghostbusters logo of yesteryear. I feel safer already. Initially, I thought the logo was the brain fart of some loose cannon, but it is actually listed on the CIA's official War on Terrorism page.

Publish your own book

here's a neat site where you can publish your own book!
http://www.poetry.com/getpublished/form.asp

Although $400 seems alot for 15 books of 60 pages, if you can get 15 people to pre-order your book for $27.00, it's very viable.

Weird Shadows

I never noticed this before but the shadows on a december early morning are very deceptive. Shadows normally fall east or west during the summer, spring and fall. Y'know cuz the sun moves across the sky east to west. So explorers can tell which direction they are going. But the december shadows in the morning actually fall north-way, because the sun is so low in the sky. It makes me wonder if hikers have ever gotten confused and thought that the december morning shadows are falling west-ward instead of north-ward.

CTA toy bus

This morning on my bus ride to work, I was standing below the speaker on a overstuffed bus with people. Every time the bus would accerlate, a weird high pitch buzz would emit from the speaker in the ceiling. Then when the bus would slow down it would give off a low-pitch buzz. So the bus totally sounded like a little toy when it would accelerate. I only wonder if that's what other people were thinking on the silent bus.

Pepsi Twist

Pepsi twist tastes like Pepsi with something wrong. Maybe I have a skewed perspective, because I'm not much of a pepsi fan to begin with. Pepsi Twist kinda tastes like selster water and pepsi mixed together.

No White Castle restaurants in Downtown Chicago

here's what i typed out on the email form to white castle:

Please come to downtown Chicago. There are no White Castles in downtown Chicago. I want to eat those yummy White Castles at work. I love White Castle. I cannot live without them at work. I may have to quit my job in downtown Chicago, because there are no White Castles in the area. If you make White Castle in downtown Chicago, I will be there like every weekday. I will eat so many sliders, that location will be profitable just from me alone! Ask anyone! Oh man, do I have the crave for White Castle! Please allow me to feed the crave!

2002 a palendrome year

Next year 2002 is a palendrome. You can flip the number around and it still spells the same thing backwards and forwards. What will that spell out for the year? A balance of good and evil? Will G.I.Joe and Cobra get along? Will the autobots live peacefully with the Decepticons? This palendromic year thing only happens like once every 110 years, except when we have a century shift. So we are a lucky generation that gets to experience two palendrommic years so closely. Hmm, what happened in 1991? I dunno that was a blaze of high schooledness of blending in with the walls. But the Twins did win the world series in 1991. Perhaps major league baseball should be wise and not kill off the Twins, because they are due to win in the palendromic years. And PLUS GET THIS! It would make total sense that the twins would win the world series in palendromic year, because the very nature of a palendromic year implies a dualism...a dualism inherent in the twinism.
