that's depressing.
however, you can apply the same sort of theory to general experience of pain.
actually, it's not that depressing, because I thought about this, because I rarely get headaches. Why is that? Perhaps I always have one, but don't realize it.

I do have a headache all the time.
For 2 years and counting.
It's pretty bad.
I couldn't finish school and I can't work.
After suffering this amount of pain for so long, sometimes it becomes my "no-pain" feeling. Do you know what I mean? Because it's the least pain I ever feel, the mindset is kind of like how other people feel when they're not in any pain.
(Of course, that doesn't make life any easier for me.)
So maybe you're right. Maybe the -least- amount of pain people feel is "painless" to them.

in response to Meep. I also have a constant headache. More than two years, and I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm at a loss to figure out what it is. You're the first person I've heard that has a constant headache too. It sucks, and if I was a weaker person I would have probubly commited suicide by now. Please contact me cause I dont know how computers work very well and "posted by:MEEP" isn't enough for me to go on.

I have a constant headache for going on 4 years. I use to get daily headaches as a child, but they were nothing compared to now. My headaches hurt all day long, from the second I'm awake to the second I sleep. Sometimes my headaches wake me up. I am only 19 years old. I saw three Neurologists, I had a PET Scan, MRI, Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap) and tried countless medications. I also saw an Allergist, Chirporactor, and a Headache Specialist. I lost alot of fun out of life. I couldn't experience High School or College like normal people due to chronic pain. I am dealing with it one day at a time. What I found to cope with the pain is Meditation and sharing feelings with a loved one.
