What would you do with a billion pennies (without spending them?)

I would toss them all on the street and make a roadblock. Then I'd stand there and photograph people as they grab as many pennies as they can carry. That would be kinda interesting, because in all reality, you can't really carry that many pennies. Once you get up to about $500 worth of pennies, it weighs 100 pounds. So if everyone takes an average of 100 pounds, then that would be 20,000 people.

I Would Toss Them In The Reseroivre At Great America....You'd Be Surprised At All The Coins, Keys, And Cards There! The Pennies [Because They Aren't Good For Anything Else] Would Create A Nice Shiny Reflection For Everyone Waiting In Line For The Rides Along That Reservoire. [Excuse The Spelling Errors] ;^]

I would put them all in Mattbot's car so that when he opened the door, they would cascade out in a river of coppery goodness and bury him. hehe.

Then i will drive my pennyful car over to Karabot's town and load them into my penny-machine gun and shoot them at you. Look out! deadly flying pennies! Take cover!

i would spend $230,000,000 dollars and mail everyone in the United States one penny.

Actually each person would get three different mailings. As of July 2003 there are 290,342,554 people in the United States.

Since there would be leftover pennies after I mail everyone in the U.S. their 3 pennies, everyone in Chicago would get 433 mailings (on the basis that there are 3 million people in Chicago.) (I would spend $296,636,377.40 of the 230 million on the Chicago mailings)

I spent way too much time figuring out the math on this.

Then I would block all of the pennies Matrix style, gather them in my hands which would be alot of pennies and take them to a set of train tracks so that I could have the flattened pennies. Then I would sell them on Ebay.

i would send them to Mars in a spaceship, then eject them out into space in an orderly fashion, in a way so that they would form a ring around Mars. a copper ring around a copper-colored planet. pretty!

I would make a hole punching machine and turn them all into rust proof washers at $0.02 cents each...turning $10 million into $20 million.
