the water fountains along the north side of the lakefront bike path used to be constantly running. this year they changed them to be self-operated, meaning you have to push a button to make them turn on. i miss the constantly running ones. so convenient!

Do those water fountains on the bike path have big buttons?

they have water-fountain-sized buttons.

are they the size of your thumb or the size of your hand?

what about those automatic door openers that are like doormats at the grocery store? those are huge buttons you push with your feet!
sadly, they're all being replaced by photo sensors.

wow, those automatic door opener ARE like big buttons. COOL. How about street lights? As a kid I used to think that there were sensors underneath the street that felt the weight of your car sitting there, so the light would change. THOSE would be some MONSTER buttons.

Actually, that would be "traffic light" instead of "street light."
