fluorescent green for a team color

While at the Chicago Cubs game in Milwaukee yesterday, anyone with a fluorescent colored shirt in the stands really stood out.

There should be a professional team with fluorescent green as one of their team colors. Then their fans can populate the stands with bright green shirts.

eh, fluorescent colors are very 1980s. it might come across as dated.

how about glow-in-the-dark? then we wouldn't need those lights at night games. the players would glow, and they could use a glow-in-the-dark ball, and bats too. that would ROCK.

Yeah, but everything would have to be exposed to *some* light in order to keep that fluorescence going. I suppose you could have lights in the dugouts, but that would kind of ruin the effect, since the dugouts are visible from the stands.

I've been searching for glow-in-the-dark croquet balls for years. I've got some 5-inch glow-in-the-dark volleyballs that work pretty well.

How about filling the stadiums with black lights and having everything and everyone in fluorescent colours!! Maybe that could be a theme night! HA!
