I couldn't agree more! You have so many more options when it's 57 degrees. Is there a place in America where it's always 57 degrees? You know, like San Diego where it's always 72 degrees.
The other thing about 57 degrees is that it's not very likely that humidity will be a factor.

This morning the bank thermometers were reading 55ƒ ... I was VERY happy. I was too busy at work to go out for lunch, but I heard it had warmed up quite a bit

London is that way. Well, at least last week it was. It was in the 50's all week. It was very nice.

Funny, I've been to London and San Francisco since this post began and all I can say is that when I was in London in June they were having a freak heat wave: It was over 90 degrees each day! I was just in San Francisco two weeks ago and it was in the mid-70's all week. A friend of mine who lives there said September and October is their "summer".
