there's so many names here, you could make your own virtual community here. That reminds me of the days when i first played around with geocities in 1997. You would get a url like "geocities.com/SoHo/3235" and the interface to explore other websites within geocities was set up like a little community with streets. You could check out your neighbors at SoHo 3234 and SoHo 3236. It was very cute.

You have "route", but how about "rural route" ... abbreviated by the post office as RR followed by the number sign and then a number. Before the street was named "Currier Court", it was called RR #8

I've also seen Elbow used, as well as Bend and Link, all of these are, at least, in Perth, Australia.
