Argyle is no longer cool

Don't get me wrong, I love argyle. But it's a sad fact that when Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig wears argyle, it can no longer be cool. Selig is the antithesis of all things cool. If he was cool, he would:

A) In 2002, he would not have cancelled the All-Star Game in the 12th inning. He would have had a homerun contest. Or brought in some fans to pitch. Or something.
B) He would put a strict steroid policy in place. period.
C) He would eliminate the DH.

I wonder how Selig got his hands on an argyle sweater. Does he really follow fashion trends?

Maybe it was a gift from his very hip daughter because Argyle is WAY cool for Spring this year. I say don't give Bud the credit, it was undoubtedly a gift from a much hipper person

by the looks of the photo, perhaps Selig is suprised that even himself is wearing an argyle sweater. He's all like, "whoo meeeee, wearing an argyle sweater? you don't say!"

I love argyle. Probably cuz I'm emo...or labelled emo, whatever. But yea, most of the posts here are '05, its '06 now and argyle isn't that popular no more, (this dude probably killed the fad).

Argle is cool especially when it is on snowboard, ski and freeride Shred goggles. Check out shredoptics.com mid November, 2006 when site will be up. Shred it with Olympic goldist Ted Ligety!

Shred. That was the name of my gerbil when I was in 8th grade. He liked to shred it. Especially the tubes--paper towel cardboard tubes.

yea, 2002 all-star game was lame. They should have just brought out the batting practice pitcher. There's always retired Hall-of-Famers in the stands. Wheel out Bob Feller or sumthin'.

Or heck. Announce that all the All Star pitchers that were used in the game are now available again. Some of those guys only threw one or two outs.
