what's a spitoon?

Oh man, i need an editor. It's spelled "spittoon" with two t's.

From dictionary.com: A bowl-shaped, usually metal vessel, often with a funnel-shaped cover, into which tobacco chewers periodically spit.

And you can check google images of spittoons.
