Tart Cherries: THE SUPER SCAVENGER
Here's some clips from an article Tom Saaristo wrote on Tart Cherries.
"Additionally, cherries contain a compound called super oxide dismutase, or SOD, which is a "super scavenger" of dangerous free radicals in the body."
"t's hard to find fresh tart cherries, sometimes called pie cherries or sour cherries, because they're very sensitive to heat and light "
"Their season is short - essentially the month of July - so when you find them, buy in bulk and freeze them"
Here's my comment:
Da Nananana! SUPER SCAVENGER!: The Sensitive Version. He doesn't like to be in the light or heat. He only appears one month out of the year. But something so grand and powerful surely cannot be around all the time, except for now...
Da Nanananaaaaaa! FREEZING! YES! You can now dry freeze your favorite superhero and make him last for 8-10 months! Want SUPER SCAVENGER in the fall? Just unfreeze him from the fridge to unlock his mighty powers!
Look! A bird! A plane! No, it's SUPER SCAVENGER!
SUPER SCAVENGER is here to save the day and destroy the dastardly dangerous free radicals!
