The life of being a klutz is fun

The world is a better place when you are a klutz. Dropping things and tripping over stuff makes you intimately more aware of your environment. Trip down concrete stairs? You'll say, "Wow, I never realized just how hard concrete stairs are." Trip on some carpeted stairs? "Oh boy, this carpet sure is plush!"

Just today I went to put some dove dark chocolates into a bowl, and I totally dropped them all over the floor, because I already cut a hole in the bag and didn't realize it. It's fun to live the world in a klutz body. You get to experience things you never would have dreamed of. Like dropping a bag of chocolates all over your knee and onto the floor. It was like raining chocolate.

One Saturday each month I hit my head on a window that I forget exists at a volunteer job, while turning on a switch right under the window. I could use it to remember how great an invention windows are. Thanks, spudmaster.

Hot lemonade with a chunk of ginger in it is DEEEElicious. A well nourished person gets plenty of vitamins anyhow, so who cares about that part.

I just came over looking for your post on the quality of Dove [I thought you had a post about some inferior chocolates] and found this post. I just re-read it and have come to realize that I should no longer be concerned or upset by what I've been considering short-comings for years ... I'm a Klutz with a capital K!

Just the other morning I poured some coffee from the bag in which it was sold into a container that I keep in the fridge. I forgot to take the coffee scoop out and when the container was full I dug down into the ground coffee to retrieve the scoop. I felt it with my fingers and tried to pull it out. When I pulled too hard, a big block of the ground coffee came flying out from under the surface showering the area with coffee grounds.

I have plenty of other examples which makes me what in the world I'm doing being a foodie | cook | baker. I never get through most tasks without some sort of Klutz-tastic maneuver.

Thanks for helping me to see myself in a different light.
