What a fantastic idea!
I still wish they would take my calls on the perfect slogan that I’ve come up with for their advertising.
Pilar is back? Or still there? I thought she left at one point. It is so great to know she is there! Yes! She is one of the best Walgreen's employees on the planet! I wonder if she would remember me if I walked in. Wait, what am I saying, of course she would!
My new Walgreen's [a mini-me Walgreen's actually] is at Jackson & Wacker [I should review it on yelp come to think of it] employs another one of my favorite Walgreen's employees. Shout out to Hazel! When I walked in the first time shortly after it opened, she caught my eye and exclaimed “HELLO!” It was like seeing an old friend. I stop in regularly and she is always more than willing to help.
All of the employees at Jackson & Wacker are wonderful, but I've known Hazel for many years now. That says a lot about Walgreen's too: when you have great people who have been with the company for so long, it reveals how great the company is and why its been around for so long.

Have you never been to a CVS?

Omg, omg, omg! That is the single GREATEST suggestion I've ever heard, Spudz. Really, top notch. I hope they reply back to you. Maybe it will get forwarded on to their marketing department! Woo! You guys should visit the Walgreen estate in Dixon sometime (that's right, they have an estate there.. as well as a landing field for planes and such).
Wouldn't it be funny if you walked in to the Walgreen estate in Dixon only to find Pilar lounging around by the pool with one of those long cigarette holders? Ha ha! Oh man...

Spudford,
Trust me, the overwhelming majority of Walgreens employees DON'T share your enthusiasm.

CVS doesn't even come close to Walgreen's in the areas of product and selection, customer service, store layout and design, promotions, convenience, locations ... and more.
I've actually been to the Walgreen's headquarters, but it wasn't the same experience at all.

I worked at Walgreens in high school and college. Can I be on a "Living Legends" card?
