Diet Cheery Pepsi

I like calling the name of Cherry Pepsi to be "Cheery Pepsi." If you enjoy Cheery Pepsi or Cheery Coke, please let us know what you like about it in the comments.

I love Cherry Coke Zero. I also like the idea of calling it Cheery Coke Zero. The problem is that it is not very easy for me to find Cheery Coke Zero or Cherry Coke Zero. My go to soda is Fresca Black Cheery Citrus :P

Dear Diet Cherry Pepsi,

Words cannot describe how you make me feel. Your slight hint of cherry goodness warms my heart and puts a smile on my face. Every day, I buy a bottle of you from Headliners and secretly revel in delight as I drink you from my ice-filled cup. Not even a room full of kittens could make me as happy as you've made me. It was love at first sip, Diet Cherry Pepsi. Marry me?

Yours always,
Lisa

i love cheery coke. i'm not sure why - i've always had an affinity for coke products - i think pepsi is too sweet.

i do not like cheery coke zero. but i do like diet cheery coke. and why? i don't know. i don't even know the difference between coke zero and diet coke. they're both calorie free so who cares, right? me. cheery coke zero is gross.

that's all.

Wild Cherry Pepsi far so superior to Cherry Coke it's not even funny.

How about instead of "Pepsi", it's called "Peepsie". You could drink "Peepsi" with your peeps.

I taught Olivia to say "peeps". She giggles every time she says it. It's precious.

Erin, I totally agree with you. I am a coke man. Peespi IS totally too sweet. And I like coke from the can. Much better than the fountain or the bottle. I don't understand people's fascination with the fountain. Perhaps they approach it with more reverence, because it appears to be special, because it comes straight from the fountain. But it totally lacks the snap and vigor of a can.

I have never compared cheery coke zero and diet cheery coke. In fact, i never even knew cheery coke zero existed.

Steve, I need to do a taste test between the Wild Cheery Peespi and the Cheery Coke. As I mentioned, i'm a Coke man, but i'm willing to re-evaluate this on the terms of Cheery.

And moose, I agree, let's do call it Peepsi. In fact, i'm going back through my comment and fixing all the Peepsi words.

Tom, have you tried diet cheery coke? You love cheery coke zero, but maybe diet cheery coke will open your tastebuds to a new tasting experience.

And a BIG THANKS TO LISA S. for she was the inspiration of this cheery coke post!

I used to LOVE Diet Cheery Coke, but when the Cheery Coke Zero came out, I was converted.

By the way, I still love regular Diet Coke ... evebn more than Coca Cola Zero.

I'm also, in case it wasn't obvious, a Coke man.

I'm definitely a Peepsi gal, however, I'm an equal opportunity drinker when it comes to all things Cheery. Cheery Coke, Cheery Coke Zero, Cheery Peepsi, it doesn't matter. I've actually never seen Diet Cheery Coke before -- never knew they made it!

The rub for me is that the vending machine at work is full of Pepsi products so I [used to] opt for the convenience rather than go to the lobby to the new not-as-convenient store ... which doesn't have Diet Cheery Coke OR Cheery Coke Zero. The vending machine also has the "prize" caps and for a while I was "winning" the "Buy 1 get 1 free" prize so I was drinking a lot of Diet Peepsi and Diet Montain Dew [anyone got a new moniker for "Mountain Dew", or should we move it to the Mount post below? :P ]

Posted by: Tom on Oct 17, 08 | 1:36 pm

Ha. So only did they FORCE you to drink Peepsi products. They were almost giving it away for free with the winning caps. Drink more Peepsi, c'mon DRIIIIIINK IT! DRIIIIINK IT!

NEW NAME FOR MOUNTAIN DEW:
Moontain Dew. Like it's dew on the moon. LOOK THEY'VE FOUND WATER ON THE MOON! AND IT'S MOONTAIN DEW!!!

Why do boys like Mountain Dew so much? I don't think I've ever seen any of my girl friends drink MD evarr.

Posted by: Lisa S. on Oct 17, 08 | 1:40 pm

Uh, lisa. It's called MOONTAIN Dew. Get it straight. It's no wonder girls don't drink it, they can't even get the name straight. Sheesh!

Posted by: spudart on Oct 17, 08 | 1:41 pm

Spudz, we posted at the EXACT SAME TIME. Weird! Hence, I did not know the new name for Moontain Dew.

So there. Why do boys like MOONTAIN Dew so much?

Posted by: Lisa S. on Oct 17, 08 | 2:02 pm

I love me some Diet Moontain Dew!

Posted by: Tom on Oct 17, 08 | 2:55 pm

lisa, haha. It's just fun to razz ya. Yeah, i see that i just barely beat to you responding to tom's comment. I shall tell you the secret to men liking Mountain Dew. Are you ready? Cuz it's cool. That's why. Mountain Dew is cool.

Now answer me this. Why do women enjoy Tab so much?

Posted by: spudart on Oct 17, 08 | 3:36 pm

Tab?!?! Can you still even buy Tab? I think I saw a can of Tab once. It was pink. Maybe that's why.

Back to Moontain Dew. Do you guys remember the Mootain Dew commercials? All I remember from them is there were just a bunch of guys doing "Xtreme" sports (i.e. snowboarding, BMXing, etc.) I think Moontain Dew purposely marketing their product toward boys to begin with and now we're seeing the ramifications years of drinking it has done.
