I was admittedly obsessed with Bowling Buddies for a long while, but it was hard to get people [for some reason] to accept my challenges, so I basically stopped bowling. I always accept Lil Green Patch requests from friends, but I don't pass plants around. Fluff Friends is fun, but there is something missing from or difficult about it [you have to spend time "buying" food, for instance]. My favorite application right now is Pieces of Flair. Sure, it may not be original [the idea was clearly stolen from the movie "Office Space'] but I love that it is almost completely visual and can say so much about who you are or what you like or believe in just by pinning some flair to your corkboard.

Fluff Friends took too much maintenance. To get fluff points, you pet other fluffs. But they only let you do it every five seconds? Huh? Too much time. I had all my friends fluffs in bookmarks, and then I'd do a load all in tabs. And pet away, but I kept getting that 5-second error. I still hang onto fluff, because it's cute. And every now and then i might open it up for fun. But it's certainly not a daily app.

Lil Green Patch was fun, but that's also an app that is now taking too much time. You have to click "yes" to each individual plant given to you. I'd much rather have a "bulk accept." So I sold all my plants and closed out the app. In fact, out of these eight apps listed, Lil Green Patch is the only one I uninstalled.

Pieces of Flair is cool. No complaints there. Well-designed. Easy to use.

The Bowling Buddies is fun to play. But I never really got addicted to it. I played it for a couple nights and just kinda maxed out on it. Bowling Buddies would probably be the next app I would uninstall.

Some of the things I really liked about Bowling Buddies were the awards, the release of different outfits based on how well you did, and challenging your friends. The only draw back with the latter was that they could say no, which my friends did more than accept. After a while I was just checking in occasionally to see if anyone was challenging me. The challenges aren’t live, so part of the appeal is if 1] you’re the challenger: you bowl your game and hope that your friend will accept the challenge or 2] you’ve accepted the challenge and as you bowl, your friend’s scores are revealed.

The thing that kept me bowling was the awards. I HAD to find out how to get the clown award, then it was all about the speed award, the all spares award and others. I never did get a perfect score nor do I think I’ll be going back to try since I feel alone there.

I think Pieces of Flair is only going to get better and more popular. They are adding new backgrounds all the time [though I think the newer ones will be more sponsored than not which adds another dimension of what you like and who you are (e.g. you might choose a Gap Denim background if you are a Gap fan), but the corkboard reminds me, at least, of my real-life corkboard and pin backs I had at home in my room.

I claimed my (fluff)friends domain, but it is a little too much work to pet and feed your friend’s pets, but I still get a kick out of it, but I don’t see it going too far, but maybe I’m not the visionary the (fluff)friends peeps are.

One application that is a disaster is the Halloween Treats application. The page within your profile looks more like the Christmas Tree application. These applications should be as easy to use as SuperPoke, in my opinion anyway.

By the way, if your computer belongs to a Slowsky like mine does, you can click through most of the "Accept [name of] Lil Green Plant" buttons before the page shifts to the Lil Green Patch home page. I always accept friends' plants, but if it takes too long and you have to keep going back, I can see how that would get to be a little much.

Word applications...scramble, before that scrabulous. Which I sorely miss.

I was obsessed with Trading Post for a good while. Though, there's really no skill at all to the app. It's purely a time killer. It's a good game to play to feed your need to collect stuff.

My wife and I enjoyed scrabulous (or was it scramble?) very much. It's the one where you try to find as many words as possible in a grid of letters. It's a fun game to play together.

Bowling Buddies is a ton of fun, but my skill level seemed to peak around 160. I tried my darndest to get over 200, but could never do it.

Wrestler is fun, but it's way too random. Not much skill there. Though it was fun getting into the top 75 in Chicago.

flair is a good to one if you like to collect stuff. It's also fun to create your own buttons. I found it's much easier to create my own buttons then trying to find a button from someone else that i like. Though there are some really nice ones out there.

never got into fluff, friends for sale, green patch. all of which seemed pretty dippy to me.
