What if animals could use guns

I'm so glad that animals can't use guns. A friend caught a poisonous scorpion in his garage. Just imagine if the scorpion could shoot out poison. It could just sit there and choose its targets to shoot.

Are there animals that have the ability to shoot at their opponent? Sure some animals are in of themselves like a rocket. A cheetah can run 70 mph and attack like a rocket, but that's lunging its entire body making itself vulernable to attack. Same thing with 200mph diving peregrine falcon.

The only animal I can think of that has a shooting attack is a pigeon that drops poop bombs. But that's not even a real attack. Are there any animals that can shoot?

I know primates can be taught things like holding and shooting a gun.

when I was on the Croatian coast, we were leaving the house we were staying at, and I was packing my clothes. Then on my bag, I saw, what I thought was an odd looking ant.

I went to look at it closer, and it was a BABY SCORPION!

Fred, you some robot transformer lookin scorpion on your bag? (from your image link)

Primates holding guns. Eek.

Are there any animals that have the natural ability to shoot something, or project out an attack away from their body?

The Spitting Cobra spits venom on its prey.

I've heard some scorpions spray venom on their prey as well, but from what I've read, it's really just "digestive juices" to help them eat bugs and such.

Interesting scorpion fact: Bark scorpions of southwest United States actually glow in the dark if you put them under a black light. They're also the only scorpion that can crawl up walls. But be careful, they're poisonous!

I gotta make another blog post. This one scares me.

I was just coming by to see if this post had been pushed down by something a little less scary

that scorpion photo is really gross. Lisa S beat me to spitting snake. I saw one on Croc Hunter. He had to wear googles when handling the snake. I'd be wearing full body armor if i had to handle a spitting snake.

Snakes are evil. That's probably why the terrorist organization in G.I.Joe was named Cobra. You have to wonder if they are going to call Cobra a terrorist organization in the upcoming movie.

"That acid inside a vulture's body can also be wielded as an effective defense mechanism."
source: Why is it a bad idea to scare a vulture?

Oh, i didn't explain it completely. Vulture vomit is a deadly weapon that can be a projectile attack.
