I joined goodreads. I'm reading an art theory book from 1905. It's an interesting perspective of the art world before Modern art entered the scene.
Yeah, the funny thing is that I went onto goodreads, because I started reading a couple new books and i wanted to see if goodreads or librarything has a section so I could display what I'm currently reading. Then I get sucked into the "check if any of my friends joined"--which I love that feature... and then oops.
I'm currently reading:
*
Death Star (Star Wars), interesting behind-the-scenes of the Death Star being built before Star Wars Episode 3.
*
The Power of Small: Why Little Things Make All the Difference, this book was on the new nonfiction shelf at my library. At first I thought it would just be about obvious things. But it's actually really insightful and inspiring.
*
6 lessons xploring God's Heart for the Nations, we are studying this in my small group now. The book is talked about on video at the 49-second mark.
There are several other books I'm also in the middle, but these are the three I have in my bag right now. And that's the real test--what's in my bag.
Oh actually, now that I remember. I wanted to make a to-read list. Kinda like a netflix queue of what I want to read. That's why I went over to goodreads and then got distracted. I still haven't made my "want to read" list. Although in a way, it's already made on my
Amazon wish list.
