You're talking about the cost per box. There's always a discounted savings when you buy a whole box versus buying individual packs.

Yeah, you are right. I don't know what the in-store price is per pack. It would be amazing if packs sell for $5, but you can buy 24 packs for $2.08 each.

I'm going to make a blog post about this, but I'm thinking about getting a box of 2011 Topps Opening Day Baseball and then mailing a pack to every baseball fan I know. Inside the envelope will be an invite for people to join our Beat the Streak league. I'm planning on having the the packs with the invte to arrive right on opening day. Wouldn't that be cool? But before that I'm gonna make a blog post asking if anyone wants a free pack of cards to send me their mailing address (I think with the clause that they would have to join our Beat the Streak league).

oh I'm also going to make a request to people that they play one person from their pack at some time in their streak. I'm going to make a personal goal of not only playing all 7 of my players, but to actually have them be all included in one streak. That's a bit intense to request others to do that, so I'm just asking other people to simply start one of the players in the pack at least one time.
