When I lived i Ravenswood it was in a courtyard building an occasionally I would draw all kinds of things on the sidewalks in the middle of the night to greet my neighbors in the morning. The ubiquitous happy face was de rigeuer of course and I paired them with puppies, the sun, a box house with triangle roof, tea kettle, house plant, and any manner of shapes, stars, swirls and bubbles

It's funny you say that, sparx; because just on my walk to work today, there was a drawing of a superhero on the sidewalk. The kids drew outlines of their bodies and then made themselves into various characters. One was a superhero. Another looked like a lizard person.

open draw: let them draw whatever they want
Open draw works too. That could be one of the themes. Often people need a little encouragement or idea on what to draw. Give them some inspiration to put chalk to brick pavers.
