Why is Google's spellcheck better than Chrome's spellcheck?

How do should "parathases" be corrected?

Chrome's spellcheck gave one suggestion: protheses. That is not the correct spelling.

Google.com correctly suggested: parentheses. Chrome is is made by Google. Shouldn't Chrome and google.com have the same spellcheck?
