The giant walking Sammy Sosa head

The Cubs are going to clinch the pennant at Wrigley Field on Tuesday. I'm going to the ballpark during the game, and hang outside left field. (not inside the park, but outside.)

i was thinking of anything wacky that I could wear to the game. Like the Ivy-man, or the neon-light man.

Some ideas I had were to dress up as:
* Wrigley Field marquee
* Wrigley Field Scoreboard (with face painted to look like the clock)
* Wrigley Field bricks

but then it hit me... A FREAKIN BIG SAMMY SOSA HEAD.
And my face could poke outside his hat, with my face painted blue with a red C.

Here is an illustration I did last night.

To get the colors on the foam core, i'm thinking of painting them on with acrylic.

I'll also make a big word bubble to attach to his face. And when people ask to take their picture with me, I'll ask them what they want Sammy to say. And they could write it out on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper and attach it to the bubble. I would collect these sheets, and the whole collection would kinda be like a work of art.

Questions:
1) Does my illustration look like Sammy Sosa? (here's the link again)
2) Do you think these size is good, or should I try to go bigger?
3) Is acrylic on foam core a good idea? Or should I use a different media?
4) Should I make a back for this too? (either another diecut shape with the back of sammy's head. Or maybe just a sheet hanging over my back to cover my body up.)
