How to make your own Nabaztag

Nabaztag (Armenian for "rabbit") is a Wi-Fi enabled toy rabbit sold by violet in France. The Nabaztag grabs the weather and news headlines off the internet and speaks it out loud. It's also an alarm clock. It can alert you of new email. It’s a voicemail system. And it costs $179. Heck, my computer can do all this stuff, only my computer doesn't have cute bunny ears, eyes and nose.

But now you can transform your computer into a Nabaztag with this easy kit! Just print out the Nabaztag transformer kit, and:
Step 1: Cut out the shapes
Step 2: Tape them onto your computer
Step 3: You now have your own Nabaztag for FREE!

I've actually been meaning to grab some free sample PICs from microchip.com and make something similar.. I'd rather have a squirrel though. And it should glow in humorous places, and also dance like those singing Santas that they sell at wal-mart around christmas time.

I'm not sophisticated enough to go wireless, mine'll have to have an ethernet tail.

I applaud this low-tech solution though. If you get a little usb fan, you can even make the ears wiggle.

What will you name your squirrel? I recommend "Skyurr," because that's Armenian for squirrel.

how about a Nabaztag tattoo? not as cool as a ruler tattoo

But you'd need LEDs or electroluminescent material under your skin to maintain the info-usefulness of the original. That might not feel too good, but it would be cool as hell.

you could put it right next to your pokemon tattoo.
