To clarify, you are actually handed one dollar every second. Just imagine someone sitting there being handed a dollar every second and having to stack them up all straight. It would be some sort of game show... Or like that
I Love Lucy episode where Lucy works in the chocolate factory taste testing the chocolates on the conveyor belt. But then the chocolates start going too fast and and she can't taste test them all, so she just stuffs them all in her mouth at once. Very funny, but also speaks to our consumer culture.
LOL! Lucy wasn't taste-testing the chocolates, she and Ethel were supposed to be wrapping them. They were told that not a single piece of candy could go through the other side of the wall without a wrapper. When they couldn't keep up with the conveyor belt, they did everything they could to prevent any unwrapped candy from leaving their station including piling it into their hats, down their shirts and into their mouths! LOL!
