My holiday card, what should i do?

I'm looking for ideas for my holiday card which is gonna be really late. It'll probably be sent out in January. Which of these January Holidays would make a good card?

Jan 27: Thomas Crapper Day is in the lead so far.

So many choices! Blonde Brownie Day! Popcorn Day! Corn Chip Day! English Toffee Day! Chocolate Covered Cherry Day! Spaghetti Day! Buttercrunch Day! Ice Cream Bar Day! PIE DAY! Peanut Brittle Day!

But my favorite and my vote goes to Twist Off Bottle Cap Day! It's on the 31st, so you can put off making your holiday card for another whole month! ;^]

English Toffee Day, I reckon

8 Jan 04

Not Jan 8, 2004 like you trashy Americans say

I pumell thee, oh Englishman on Jan 14, for that is the date of when The Revolutionary War ended in 1784. U-S-A! U-S-A!

I think you may need to go with Kazoo Day, because how many people actually play kazoos or could even sketch a quick kazoo on kazoo command. It could create massive kazoo conundrums as to what a kazoo IS.

chocolate covered cherry day...:D

invent your own holiday. like "spudart day." can we get that as a paid holiday from work, while you're at it?

ooh ooh! science fiction day!!!!!!!

Now that's an idea I can get behind! We need a Spudart Day! I guess that should be today, December 29 since the idea came up on this day, but let's open the proverbial floor to suggestions. Maybe Matt's birthday or the day he adopted "Spudart" as a monikor ~ I'll start the petition.

That's funny because October 1st is also Tom Saaristo Day.

What is/was it with October?

I began looking for recommendations from January 15th and on. It's silly to recommend a holiday that is tomorrow. Or even in the next week. You need to allow time for people to get the card on or before the particular holiday. You also kinda need tome to design it. I vote for Chinese New Year January 22nd. But I guess you can get really silly and go with square dance day (january 24) or somethin.

Exactly! That's why I am still advocating the celebration of Twist-Off Bottle Cap day on the 31st. Monday is already the 5th ~ Time is tick tick ticking away ~ You know, you could re-adopt the whole Groundhog Day celebration.

Cool!

Maybe I'll do a 04.04.04 card this year! Could be fun!

whoops, i still have not done a card yet.

Does that mean you're still thinking about doing one?

I think you should wait until December to send out your 2003 holiday card. You could always be one year behind. No one else does that. It would be unique and comical.

that's funny. i like it. But i was thinking about doing like a july 4th card, maybe.

Posted by: spudart on Apr 29, 04 | 8:14 am

then send out a 4th of july card celebrating the cenntennial.

Posted by: unlikelymoose.com on Apr 29, 04 | 9:13 am

You mean like it's the year 1876. I would be so far behind that i'm not even celebrating 1776, it would be 1876? you crazy.
