without the "registration marks" would we know that the one figure is female?

Maybe she's actually a shemale.

BOR-ING! When's the last time the Olympics had a well-designed mascot? What about the icons for the sports themselves? Have you seen the 2004 designs? They tend to be lackluster too. Ho Hum. *yawn*

Uh, yeah, those are horrible. But you know the designer who did it got paid a mint. Just goes to show sometimes the most poorly designed stuff ends up in the most people's faces.

The Athens 2004 mascots look like a pair of dancing "sexual novelties."

hey, lay off the giant-footed mascots of the beloved 2004 olympic games.
via la' fat feet
The head of the olympics committee has a foot fetish.

He's not the only one ... but some of us prefer feet that are a tad more normal in size.
Speaking of feet, the heads of these icons kinda look like feet too ... from different angles anyway, since they aren't showing all five toes.

i don't get the big feet. nor do i get the sleeves that go all the way over the hands.

i like how they stand on their tippy toes.
You can buy lots of products featuring this toe tipping twosome whose names, by they way, are Phevos and Athena.

Can you buy the stuff online? It looks like they only want you to buy their products at their
five olympic stores.
