Oh Hawaii and Alaska. oopsie! Boy, including them on the map would make the map really really big, and the other star connections really really small.

I feel sorry for school children who live in north-central Wyoming; say, in a city like Dayton, Wyoming. The closest capital to Dayton, Wyoming is Helena, Montana. That's a distance of 359 miles. It's a 5 hour and 12 minute car ride from Dayton to Helena.
