Maybe it looks real pretty up close. But even if it has stunning detail when you look at it closely it still would be lame a55, because no one can see the detail on tv. All we see on tv is a chunky piece of glass. I agree that "trophy" sucks major a55. It should be a giant trophy with metal pillars and multiple platforms.

Actually, I would like to see trophy be a life-size replica of ted williams. that would be cool. Imagine bud selig trying to life that! ha!

It's not the only award that sucks, most award look like nothing more than a pile of caca. The best award anywhere in any industry is Lord Stanley's Cup. In fact, all awards should take a cue from the Stanley Cup, especially sports, since it is sports' oldest prize.

Yeah, the Lord Stanley Cup rules, for so many hard core reasons. 1)it's got all the players names on it 2)each player gets to keep it for awhile 3)the cup has it's own bodyguards 4)you can drink out of it 5)it's got "Lord" in the title. 6)and the list goes on and on. I'm in the middle of designing a croquet trophy, and for reference I'm building a webpage with all the famous trophies on it.
