How to import Blogger into pMachine
Exporting blogger posts into the pMachine format:

A. Export your blogger entries into Movable Type format
B. Take the Movable Type format and import into pmachine
C. Do the happy dance

Sound simple? well, not really.
=================================
A.
Do what they say at:
http://www.movabletype.org/docs/mtmanual_importing.html

But at their step 3, instead of using the template they recommend, this post on the pmachine bulletin board discusses what to do:
http://www.pmachine.com/forum/threads.php?id=P4312_0_7_0_C

But it still isn't very clear what to do, so just use this for your blogger template (without the x-lines)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
<Blogger>
AUTHOR: <$BlogItemAuthor$>
TITLE: <PostSubject><$BlogItemSubject$></PostSubject>
STATUS: Draft
ALLOW COMMENTS: 1
CONVERT BREAKS: 1
ALLOW PINGS: 0
PRIMARY CATEGORY:

DATE: <$BlogItemDateTime$>
-----
BODY:
<$BlogItemBody$>

-----
EXTENDED BODY:

-----
EXCERPT:

--------

</Blogger>
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Make sure you keep the returns correct. It's very picky about them. Like the line before the "DATE:"

When you get the superlong page of all your blog posts (as mentioned in their instructions), you'll want to copy the source file of the page, NOT just what's in the browser, but the SOURCE. With the source, you'll nice line breaks, it won't be a long gobbedly gook like in the browser.

B.
Now you want to import all these entries into pmachine. Download the kit from:
http://www.pmachine.com/download.php
It's the "Movable Type Import 1.1"

The instructions are pretty clear in this download.

But please make sure that all your dates look like this: 03/08/2003, not 3/8/2003. If you don't have the zeros in there, your archives will get majorly f**ked up.

But I manged to quickly solve my zero problem by using the phpMyAdmine to change the month and year fields in the pm_weblog table to be a type of "tinyint" (length of 2) with an attribute of: "UNSIGNED ZEROFILL". Hopefully, you won't have to do this part of adjusting the database field types.

C.
Now you can truly do the happy dance.
