Where to buy the equipment. How to make your own.

Make your own buttons.
This research is focused around small buttons, the size of 1.25". The best option is to buy your own button maker and produce your own buttons. You would print them out on your inkjet or laser printer on normal paper. Then insert the paper into the metal button thing and whamm-o, a button. The intial cost of a button maker for 1.25" buttons is about $50 from Badge-A-Minit. Other companies also produce button makers, but they run about $300 and up for more fancy equipment. So i recommend buying the button maker from Badge-A-Minit and any extra buttons from another company.
