Higher quality nativities

The taller nativity came from Metro, the craft store on Montrose which is home to what I think is the world’s largest variety of ribbons. Seriously! If you ever need ribbons, come to Metro. They also have a decent selection of nativities. Even though I didn’t pick this one up for a buck, the seven dollar price tag was well worth it.

Oh, Metro also has lots of baby dolls figurines and bride figurines. Armies and armies of figurines. If they ever came to live, we’d be doomed.

Just about next-door to Metro is Family Dollar. They had a pretty neat big snow-globe nativity. I wasn’t planning on using a snow globe, but figure the reflections might be kinda cool.

  1. Also, this Family Dollar on Montrose is really adamant about checking your bag at the door. They got me the first time when I bought the snow globe. Then a week later when i came to take photos of their shelves, I tried to sneak by without checking my bag, and they got me again!
