The double-decker Michigan Ave bridge crosses over over the Chicago River in downtown Chicago. This is one of 52 moveable bridges in Chicago, the most for any city in the world. The Tribune Tower anchoring the south side of the bridge, was built two years later in 1922. The original site also was the land of the first settlement in Chicago.
