Killer squid found living in Chicago River

4/3/2003Immediately after the news of the Colossal Squid found in the sub-Antarctic Ross Sea, an even larger squid was found arising from the Chicago River this afternoon. “It rose out of the river like a skyscraper!” an eyewitness exclaimed.
We don’t know how this squid managed to hide itself in the relatively small body of water, but one rumor holds that this SUPER-KILLER-MONSTER-SQUID got jealous once it heard of this seemingling “monster squid” was found.
Phone calls to the mighty morphin power rangers were not answered, rising questions of who shall defeat such a creature. Many chicagoans believe that we should just let it live and become the mascot of our city.
