I’d consider marking your words, but I don’t want to draw on my monitor. I hope you’re right … I’d like to see it happen sooner though. There is a tree in my neighborhood that has 3 plastic bags in it. It’s like the kite-eating tree in Charlie Brown, ‘cept this tree eats plastic bags. Well, I hope it eats them anyway. I hate seeing them just hanging there.

here in San Francisco its already illegal for grocery stores to use plastic bags, you have to get paper.

Or you can use some kind of permanent/reuseable bag, JOHLOH. Illinois finally went smoke-free. I hope that can start the ball rolling on more improvements for quality of life, like being plastic bag-free. Hopefully it won’t take 10 years and hopefully it won’t take doing it one state or country or continent at a time to get the job of being a plastic bag-free world done.
