dock for 12-inch powerbook

i tried to make a dock for my laptop last night. First i used my dremel to cut out the shapes of the plugs in a block of wood. But that didn’t work. So then I flipped the block over and tried putting pushpins into the wood as like guides for the plugs. But that didn’t work either. The people who make bookendz haven’t released one for the 12″ yet.
