Whenever we go someplace where my first grader might need something to play with, I’ll tuck one of my Ewok action figures into my pocket.
Ewoks have come with us to Disney World.

To church

To the zoo

And to the Art Institute of Chicago

Recently, Paploo came with us to dinner at Maize & Mash in Glen Ellyn. During dinner, my Ewok was sitting near the edge of the table, right where the waitress would come by.

The obvious assumption is that the Star Wars action figure belongs to one of the children. But in this case, the real reason there was an Ewok at the table was that there was a 50-year-old kid sitting there too.
