Does drinking hot tea or coffee make you warm?
I never felt any warmer after a hot drink. The same thing with ice cream, never noticed feeling any colder.
But then a couple of days ago I moved my temperature reader by my computer to monitor the temperature of my apartment because I often feel cold. It was around 69 degrees, so I turned up the heat and found 75° to be quite pleasant.
Then I had some ice cream.
I felt cold. But it was 73 degrees, not enough to really feel cold. So it must be the ice cream. That’s why I often feel cold in my apartment because I eat ice cream a lot.
It’s true! Warm foods make you feel warm and cold foods make you feel cold. And the fact that they do is very important especially in certain climates and at various times of the year. I won’t write a book on it here on your lovely blog, suffice to say that it’s important to eat warm foods when you are cold and to eat cooler foods [temperature-wise, not hipster-wise”> when you are hot [temperature-wise, not hipster-wise”>.
on the contrary… i think if your body is cold you should drink something cold. the idea is that you will be balancing your body temperature with the air temperature. if you’re cold… and you drink something hot to feel warmer… your body will require constant injection of warm fluids to sustain your warmth. so, instead of fighting the coldness… become one with it. i know that has nothing to do with ice cream… but so what.
IM DOING A SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT ON HOW COLD FOODS MAKE YOU COLDER AND HOT FOODS MAKE YOU HOTTER. AND THE TESTS IVE DONE SO FAR SAY THAT TEA DOES INDEED MAKE YUR TEMPRTRE. GO UP. BUT ice cream tests have been confusing since sometimes the tepm. goes up, down, or stays the same -friggin thermometers can die, such fools- well this was a complete waste of yur time so haha- you bloody, wretched, foolish bastards- you are under my control now- muahahahahahahahahahahahhaa!
Just like ACs that brings coolness, not just food that brings cold to us but also the environment as well as when your near trees.
