Pretty sure it’s impossible to burn water. You should use the hot water tap from the water dispenser in the south side kitchen!
Lisa, ha! I wrote this blog post from home–I microwaved my water, and it kinda tastes different after nuking it. I’m serious. After Brittany (who worked at a tea shop) told me that microwaving water does something different to it, i swear microwaved water tastes different.
Colorado.edu says that microwaving water makes it rotate. That’s neat.
It is in fact possible to burn water, but it ain’t easy!
just don’t stare at the microwave when you use it. You’ll lose your hair that way.
i’m going to start using the word hydrogeny when appropriate.
