I go to church in Cabrini Green. Or at least what used to be Cabrini Green. The city of Chicago recently tore down the last high-rise. This would be a most fitting subject for the “Remember me” magnet series.
This is the start of my two-mile walk down Division Street from Halsted Street to Western Avenue. It’ll be a walk through a low-income housing project, an industrial area, crossing two bridges, walking under one train overpass, an expressway, a trendy neighborhood, a hospital, and a high school.
At the end of every post, I will mark the time that the photos were taken, so you can get a sense of this walk.
