Anyone find this sculpture disturbing?
* Not only a ball for the girl’s head, but one for the dog too. That’s the main thing.
Other weird things:
* The dog is yellow with black dots? A giraffe dog?
* Is it the dog tethered to the tree? Or the girl?
* They are standing in a bath of tree branches

That is beyond weird/disturbing. Maybe they are from outer-space and aren’t used to oxygen. I think the GNMA is pushing it with these lit-up globes up and down the avenue.

amazing that they put these things out again this year–this is the THIRD year in a row with these oddball sculptures.
Sounds like maybe they signed a multi-year contract. Hopefully it’s only a three year deal!

just go there, you can’t miss them. there’s a couple in front of marshall fields. they look like exploding stars. not sure about the timing – like why weren’t they out there for xmas or new year’s? they’re very new year’s-y.
