Cough Syrup
Heeeeeey, i’m not sure cough syrup is a sauce. Do you regularly put cough syrup on other food?
I’m with you, I can’t think of a sauce that wouldn’t be great on a burger, from basic mayonnaise to barbecue … even sweet and sour, especially if the burger was a combination of beef and pork … the sky is the limit!
That’s it! It’s official! Tom the foodie has spoken! All sauces go well on a hamburger. Now the dare has escalated into a DOUBLE dare for any one so brazen as to think of a sauce that is not good on hamburgers!!!
What about tzatziki or hollandaise ?
tzatziki, also known as cucumber sauce is frequently served on gyros. hmmm. interesting. I will have to try it on a hamburger to truly test its complementary nature to the hamburger. hollandaise sauce. hmmm. “It is an emulsion of butter and lemon juice using egg yolks as the emulsifying agent. Hollandaise sauce is well known as a key ingredient in eggs Benedict.” Again, a taste test is in order!
Tzatziki would be GREAT on lamb burgers … even though I don’t eat lamb.
as much as i enjoy eating fish sauce (nuoc mam), i don’t think it would be very good on hamburgers.
Chocolate sauce?
This is bullshit. No credit given to the guy that really came up with the idea of this blog post. I demand all royalities from this post.
