Office Max
Looked for those aluminum mesh boxes. They didn’t have any. (they are $12 there, vs. $20 at the container store)
Sports Authority
The place was such a ferkin mess, that I even if I found something there, I would refuse to buy it. Because I don’t to support a store that is so terribly unorganized. I saw one of the workers standing next to a phone with his pocket knife carving into the phone. Nice.
Micro Center
Bought lots of computer stuff: USB cables, USB port. My parents are getting that stuff with my old computer. I also go a ten-dollar video game (4×4 evolution 2… race game). And I bought a $15 50-foot ethernet cord so I can have my laptop anywhere with DSL. It’ll be a temporary thing while I decide if I want to fork over $300 for wireless.
When i was walking to MicroCenter, I passed this shady looking kid who was just sitting himself down next to a rake of bikes. It didn’t look like he was there to take his bike off the rack. He made it seem like that “oh look, I’m tired, I’ll just sit next to this rack of bikes to relax”. And I immediately thought of how Noel got his bike stolen and how this kid is probably “relaxing” next to the bikes just he can secretly steal one.
Joann Fabrics
Looked at buttons for this shirt/jacket that has all the front buttons popped off. (Use your imagination on how those buttons popped off, and it’s actually true). Didn’t find any the right size. But I did find these tiny fun patches of the AOL instant messenger emoticons!
Target
Cheap workout shorts. I’m glad I bought them here instead of Sports Authority. Target is so much more organized and clean. I wish many more stores realized the importance of organization and no-clutter. I’m afraid the hip cafe (Cafe Selmarie) by me is starting to get clutterized inside.
Also got some of the flingers used in Whirlyball. The TMS marketing team needs some practice.
Got home at like 10:30pm. Lisa called we talked until like 12:00. Then I tried to figure out website stuff for like two hours while chatting to people online.
