What is spudart.org about?
matt maldre
Who?
This site is the landfill of Matt Maldre's life, a 32-year-old Christian designer in Chicago.

What's on this site:
Mostly, I want this site to be about ideas. Not just a bumper-sticker site that shows off what I've done, but a place to share interesting thoughts, both mine AND yours. Whenever I have an idea for an art project, I'll post it here and the feeback from others really helps the idea to grow and be much more. So I love it when people leave feedback on my ideas.

  • 24 (a MUST watch every tuesday. I'm up yelling in excitement at the tv for this)
  • Baseball Tonight (yup, i'm a big baseball fan)

School:
Graduated with honors from Illinois Wesleyan University. Founded and run artiwu, an art alumni/student organization for IWU.

Quotes:
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
--Philippians 4:4-7

"Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city."
--Proverbs 16:32
