Spring at Chicago's Ohio Street Beach

Yay for spring at Ohio Street Beach Spring comes to Chicago's shore
yay for spring: panoramic photo of Chicago's beach

Today was Chicago's first sixty degree day in 2011. When I was at the beach during lunch, I had to touch the water to welcome in Spring. I have to admit, it was strange watching the water rolling onto the shore, because it reminded me of the tsunami in Japan. Of course the waves coming in on Lake Michigan aren't from Japan. But I was imagining that they were.

It was such a nice day that I wrote "Yay for spring" in the sand. What would you have written in the sand?

I was also thinking of writing "weeeeeeeeeee!" and then have the "eee's" trail into the lake.
