I got a few neat shots of the people waiting in line to get into Wrigley Field on August 29, 2002. It reminded me of some shots that I took from the Tribune Tower of the immigrant line waiting for their papers a couple of months ago on July 5, 2002.

Granted, none of these shots is anything great. But I think I might actively get out to take pictures of people standing in line.
Can you think of any other events or places where there are lines?
- Marathon runners (Chicago Marathon)
- Food festival (Taste of Chicago ticket line)
- Commuters (People going upstairs at Metra and L)
- Metra ticket sales line (1st of the month)
- Grocery store line
- Fast food line
- Carnival rides (Great America)
- Airport (O’Hare)
- Movie (hmm, any big movies coming up?)
- Cafeteria (hmmm, where?)
- Club (any popular clubs)
- School bus (any school)
- Kids at playground i.e. slide (I’d probably have to take off work to go to schools to photo this)
- Payphone (at the Taste)
- Cab (outside Union Station or McCormick Center)
- Voting (aren’t we voting this November?)
- Sports team practicing
- People leaving church service*
- Ticketmaster line* (Saturday mornings at 10)
- Buffet* (old country buffet)
- Employees* (at work when they used to give us free food at company meetings)
Do I want to branch out into non-people lines?
- Traffic jam* (Hinsdale Oasis on 294 is a nice aerial view of the highway)
- Airplanes (O’Hare)
* Indicates idea from my twin brother, Erik

ATM lines at The Taste
Speaking of church service…People waiting for the Bride & Groom after a wedding.
Any of Chicago’s festivals: Taste of Randolph comes to mind; Halsted St. Market Days;
Any of Chicago’s parades: Columbus Day; St Patrick’s Day; Pride
Halloween Haunted Houses [check your local listings”>
Clubs: I know Red No. 5 near me [West Loop”> has a lengthy line late night Friday. Any of the bars in Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville.
Old Country Buffet? Really!? I am SO afraid of that.
I don’t want to think about being in/ getting into/ waiting in lines.
